After that, we'll go to the wonderful Egyptian Museum, which houses items from the Pharaonic era. AAfter breakfast, you will be picked up from your Cairo hotel and driven on a three-hour land journey to Alexandria. Your excursion will begin in Alexandria with a visit to Pompey's Pillar, next visit the Kom El-Shoqafa Catacomb. Then seeing the Alexandria Library from the outside, which is currently the world's largest library with 8 million books (visit its open court + free museums). Then go to the Lighthouse Site, one of the ancient world's seven wonders, which is now part of the Qaitbey Castle. Drive thirty kilometers down the Cornish coast to see the entire city of Alexandria from the sea, including the historic port, where we discovered seven thousand monuments underwater. Visit the famous Stanley Bridge, a modern Alexandria icon. See King Farouk's Royal Gardens, the Royal Palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, and the queens' royal beaches in Alexandria's historic center. King Farouk is Egypt's penultimate king, so pay a visit to the Abo El Abbas Mosque, the city's most magnificent and biggest mosque, the mystery soldier of Alexandria, and the Alexander the Great monument.
