Explore the eastern bank and the temples of Luxor and Karnak on your first day of the Luxor Nile cruise. The temples of Luxor and Karnak are located in the east, and the holy route connecting them is known as the Avenue of Sphinx. 
Karnak Temple is the largest temple complex in the world. It is made up of about four temples that are all dedicated to the sun god Amun. 
The Great Temple is made up of a collection of roughly 10 massive edifices. 
After seeing the great temple, we will take a tour of the holy road, the route of the gods, which is the recently opened Avenue of the Sphinx, as it connects the temples of Karnak and Luxor. 
Luxor Temple is the smaller of the two temples, but it is much more magnificent. It was completely covered with sand, and a mosque was built on top of it. The mosque is still there today, and it has a part of the temple built into it. 

MS Sonesta Star Goddess Nile Cruise Luxor Aswan is not over as we will continue sailing to Edfu and visit and discover the ancient mysteries of Ancient Egypt. After breakfast, you will start seeing the west bank.
