What you should take into consideration before booking your cruise?
You should consider the many different factors that may affect your trip before deciding to book a cruise to Egypt.
Egypt is located in the Northern hemisphere, so it is likely colder during the winter season.
But it can reach up to 118 degrees Fahrenheit in some parts of Egypt in the summertime, while temperatures in some neighboring countries reach down to 43°F.
These are all climatic factors you need aware of before making a decision based on your geographical location and preferences for weather conditions.
Also, you have to consider the following factors:
Do you have any mobility impairments that could be difficult to manage on a boat?
Do you have stomach disorders, back pain, or knee/legs problems hampering your ability to carry heavy luggage?
Is your ideal vacation spot rough terrain with challenging treks or dried-up rivers instead of the beach?
Tips for staying safe while on a Nile Cruise for Egypt christmas
“It’s easy to feel like you’re on top of the world when you’re cruising down the Nile River. The sun is shining, life is good, and all seems perfect. But before your cruise ship leaves port, here are some tips for staying safe while on a Nile Cruise.”
- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and avoiding alcohol because it dehydrates you.
- Keep an eye out for wildlife that might be lurking in dark corners or underfoot (think crocodiles!).
- Don’t forget to apply sunscreen every day to avoid getting too much sun exposure!
- Carry toilet paper with you at all times. You never know when nature will call and there is no bathroom around
- Keep an eye out for pickpockets – they may try to snatch your belongings as soon as they can get away from the crowd.
Things to do during your stay in Cairo for Egypt christmas
Visit Pyramids of Giza
The Pyramids of Giza are a must-see for any traveler to Cairo.
These fourth dynasty funerary temples have been wowing crowds for centuries and continue to be one of the country’s favorite attractions, despite their heat (it can get as high as 40°C) or dustiness during your visit!
But don’t forget that you’ll want more than an hour outside in order to enjoy this site properly – availing yourself from exploring every last passage inside The Pyramid Of Khufu aka “The Great Pyramid”.
Visit The Egyptian Museum
The Egyptian Museum is without a doubt one of the world’s greatest museums. It houses an impressive collection that would take your whole life to explore in its entirety, but don’t worry – there are guided tours!
Tutankhamun’s treasures are so amazing and valuable that they could have been worth millions!
The Egyptian Museum has a large collection of these artifacts. Some highlights include his death mask, sarcophagus (Room 3), a pharaonic throne with Lions rug from Tut’s tomb interior decoration project in Room 35 as well as wardrobe pieces which tell you more than ever before about what life was like back then for royalty.
Go to Al-Azhar Mosque
Al-Azhar Mosque is a historical landmark in Cairo and one of Egypt’s earliest surviving mosques, completed by 972 AD. It also holds the distinction of being awarded university status from Caliph El-Azziz nearly 1000 years ago – making it one of if not THE most prestigious theological center for Islamic thought today!
Explore Coptic History in Old Cairo
The Coptic Museum here contains a wealth of information on Egypt’s early Christian period and is home to one if not the finest collections in all of North Africa.
Next door, The Hanging Church dates back over 9th century where it was founded by Byzantine Christians who found their religious buildings offending against what they wanted for themselves following Roman occupation during which many important cultural landmarks were desecrated or destroyed including monasteries—making this particular site at least partly responsible for preserving some valuable knowledge about life before Islamization happened.
In addition, it has remained an active place either regular worshipers come to visit (especially on Sundays)or artists create works based on historical events.
Visit Saqqara and Dahshur
One of the most rewarding day trips you can take from Cairo is a trip to Saqqara and Dahshur.
These sites are over 10 miles south, so it’s not too far but still gives an amazing skyline view outside your window on the way there!
The Step Pyramid at these burial grounds isn’t really my favorite-I would recommend exploring other structures as well like those beautifully painted tombs that line their sides within this vast necropolis; they’re truly majestic works.
Visit The Royal Mummies at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC)
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilizations is home to some of the most famous Pharaonic mummies in all of Egypt.
The star attraction, Royal Mummy Collection followed by many more will be on display here for years to come as their new permanent location at this museum has just arrived!
The NMEC doesn’t only focus its exhibits around one specific era but rather tells an entire story from prehistory until modern-day Egyptians; it’s no wonder that we have been grateful enough they’re willing and able to accommodate our needs so well these past few months while construction continues inside without too much interference outside.
Shop at The Maze of Khan el-Khalili
Khan el-Khalili is a must for anyone who loves to shop.
This souq (bazaar) has been around since 1400 when it was established as Egypt’s first shopping district and still rings with the clang of metalworkers today near el Dahshoor Mosque in Cairo Merchant City – an area that now houses shops selling handmade jewelry or silverware made by Egyptians for centuries past before tourism took over completely!
To get here just take any main street away from Shariamey Road; if you’re feeling energetic then divert into some tiny side alleys where creative vendors offer up their products right off these streets.
